Enjoying a wide creative freedom, Pedro Guimar\u00e3es recurs to various techniques, resources and materials.<\/p>\n

The paths are multiple and the possibilities are infinite. The artist works with concepts and different approaches in the creation of his art. In his artworks we can find figurative art and abstract art, sometimes the counterposition between both.<\/p>\n

Originality and the urge to surprise are characteristics of his work.<\/p>\n

There is also a clear intention to involve those who see the artwork, to participate in the narrative interpretation of the artwork according to their experiences, emotions and conceptualizations.<\/p>\n

The artist’s rebelliousness and daring is evident in his will to broaden the definition of art, seeking experimentation with materials, unexpected techniques and the reuse of materials.<\/p>\n

Pedro Guimar\u00e3es uses multidisciplinary languages from drawing to painting to constantly explore the multiple forms of observation, highlighting the humanism of figurative painting.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the artist has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and on the international circuit. His works are part of private collections all over the world: Nigeria, Sweden, Holland, USA, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Spain, Angola, Puerto Rico and Lebanon. His work is exhibited at the renowned Georges Berg\u00e8s Gallery in Soho, New York and in several other capitals by Opera Gallery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O artista trabalha com conceitos e distintas abordagens na cria\u00e7\u00e3o da sua arte. Nas suas obras podemos encontrar arte figurativa e arte abstrata, por vezes, a contraposi\u00e7\u00e3o entre ambas.\r\n\r\nA originalidade e o \u00edmpeto para surpreender s\u00e3o caracter\u00edsticas do seu trabalho.\r\n\r\nH\u00e1 ainda uma clara inten\u00e7\u00e3o de envolver quem v\u00ea a obra, a participar na interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o narrativa da obra art\u00edstica em fun\u00e7\u00e3o das suas viv\u00eancias, emo\u00e7\u00f5es e conceptualiza\u00e7\u00f5es.\r\n\r\nA rebeldia e a ousadia do artista evidencia-se na vontade de ampliar a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de arte, procurando a experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com materiais, t\u00e9cnicas inesperadas e na reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\nPedro Guimar\u00e3es parte de linguagens multidisciplinares do desenho, \u00e0 pintura para explorar constantemente as m\u00faltiplas formas de observar, ressaltando o humanismo da pintura figurativa.\r\n\r\nAo longo dos anos, o artista participou de v\u00e1rias exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais e colectivas em Portugal e no circuito internacional. Os seus trabalhos fazem parte de cole\u00e7\u00f5es privadas em todo o mundo: Nig\u00e9ria, Su\u00e9cia, Holanda, EUA, Nova Zel\u00e2ndia, Ar\u00e1bia Saudita, Fran\u00e7a, Alemanha, Espanha, Angola, Porto Rico e L\u00edbano.
